And part of that is because I was an overweight kid, I was an obese teenager,

and the message that I got is, hey, this will help.

You know, hop on an elliptical hey, this will help.

You know, hop on an elliptical machine, this will help.

And as I got older, I really observed more and more people,

especially women viewing exercise as a weight management technique.

And look, I'm not here to say that it is not that because it is that.

But most people do not understand how and why strength training is absolutely non-negotiable.

I think it's awesome if you're a walker. I think it's awesome if you love

your peloton or your spin classes or whatever other form of cardiovascular exercise

you do, but we can't use that as a pass to not be consistently and
