I want to say for starters, I've never said this at the beginning of an interview, but I get

very uplifted and elated doing these interviews.

It really sort of attunes me to a deeper level.

But at the same time, at the end of them, I always have a sort of a sense of misgiving

that I feel like I haven't adequately probed the depth of the person that I'm talking to and really

gotten down to the root of understanding their perspective.

And maybe that's just a limitation inherent in human communications, but I always, you know,

try to do my best to ask questions that are as deep and meaningful as possible and are

as useful as possible to the people who are listening. And I always feel like I fail at it

to some extent, but I fail as well as I can.
