Hey guys, welcome back to the Ask Joseph Q&A. Now, in this question I had from Mohammed,

0:07.6

Mohammed said, when someone close to you gets hurt or insulted, you might feel sad or bad for them.

0:14.4

Is there anything that we can do in such situations for them and for ourselves?

0:20.5

Would appreciate you doing a video about that or this

0:23.6

question here. So let's go straight for it. So it's very, very common if we feel very

connected with someone, if they're going through struggles or they're going through stresses

1:27.9

someone like that as well. So, here's what I do. First of all, I have to realize that their

1:35.6

experience right now does not have to be my experience. And I say that with the greatest sense of

1:42.6

wanting to help that person, Because if I take ownership over their experience or their heard, then I'm just literally taking that on for myself.

1:53.0

And that disempowers me.
