The Eagles picked up a big week one win but in the process they lose Malik Jackson.

The Eagles defensive tackle reportedly out for the season with a list-franc injury that needs surgery.

This is a big loss, isn't it, room?

It is.

And yeah, I was just so excited to see Fletcher and Malik Jackson play together.

They were both excited to play together.

Fletcher has been talking about he's never had a guy like this next to him in his career. It's a position where they do have some depth. It's not

catastrophic from that standpoint, but certainly a guy they invested a lot of money

in, a guy who was a centerpiece of their off season, and a guy that I think every

Eagles fan was really looking forward to seeing.

And it looks like a season-ender, he'll need surgery, it's ligament damage in your foot.

I mean it sounds like, you know, it's a sprain they call it, but it's a very, very serious injury.

The rehab is very difficult

uh... duce daily is the first guy that we heard of

that had it and uh... you just hope he can come back healthy but it's uh...

it's definitely a uh... serious blow to this defense.

Yeah, it's certainly a serious blow.
