Summary

Finger-wagging abounds on this week's show as we manage to fall into an argument/therapy-session over why each of us are the way we are with regard to telly viewing habits, and why James has never watched a documentary series all the way through. We also find the time to watch the new Jed Mercurio-produced James Nesbitt thriller, Bloodlands, immerse ourselves in the batshit world of Netflix's Behind Her Eyes, and finally give For All Mankind a proper chance when we get mooned by that show's second season.

On the Pilot TV podcast this week, we're getting embroiled in Irish politics in BBC One's

oversight for Season 2 of Apple's For All mankind, and finally, trying to work out what

I'm James Neier and welcome to the Pilot TV podcast, a show that needs to address a very grave

injustice. Several weeks ago, we didn't have time to review a certain TV show and were

reduced to covering it as an also out. A week later, my illustrious co-host Boyd Hilton

0:46.5

described this treasure of a show as his own personal hate watch. To add further insult

0:53.0

to unspeakable indignity, I last week mocked my other co-host Terry White by saying that,

0:58.6

having stopped watching SVU, she probably watches two episodes of this show before she

goes to bed, casting further shade upon this incredible series. I refer, of course,

to fate the Wink saga. Now, this, if you don't know, is the gripping

1:12.2

live-action evolution of Nickelodeon's Wink's Club, which recounts the moving tale of Bloom

1:16.8

the Fire Fairy, who leaves her home to join Alphia College, the magical boarding school,

1:21.4

in the other world, and there she meets other fairies, Stella, the light fairy, Aisha,

1:26.3

the Wands of Fairy, Tera, who is an Earth Fairy and Musa, who is a mind fairy, and they all

1:31.3

team up to tackle an ancient threat known as the burned ones, and I have to tell you, I

1:35.4

watched all six of these pretty much back to back last weekend, and this is the new

carnival row in my life. I am 100% here for these fucking fairies.

1:43.9

Yeah, I mean, there's, you know, a shit show, a shit show with only Wink's, and off

it goes. They have to earn their wings, Terry. One does not simply walk into Wink's in
