On the Pilot TV podcast this week, we're getting embroiled in Irish politics in BBC One's

new James Nezbit thriller Bloodlands, taking a trip to the moon in order to correct an

oversight for Season 2 of Apple's For All mankind, and finally, trying to work out what

in the name of great Odin's raven is really going on in Netflix's loopy psychological thriller

behind her eyes.

I'm James Neier and welcome to the Pilot TV podcast, a show that needs to address a very grave

injustice. Several weeks ago, we didn't have time to review a certain TV show and were

reduced to covering it as an also out. A week later, my illustrious co-host Boyd Hilton

described this treasure of a show as his own personal hate watch. To add further insult

to unspeakable indignity, I last week mocked my other co-host Terry White by saying that,

having stopped watching SVU, she probably watches two episodes of this show before she

goes to bed, casting further shade upon this incredible series. I refer, of course,

to fate the Wink saga. Now, this, if you don't know, is the gripping

live-action evolution of Nickelodeon's Wink's Club, which recounts the moving tale of Bloom

the Fire Fairy, who leaves her home to join Alphia College, the magical boarding school,

in the other world, and there she meets other fairies, Stella, the light fairy, Aisha,

the Wands of Fairy, Tera, who is an Earth Fairy and Musa, who is a mind fairy, and they all

team up to tackle an ancient threat known as the burned ones, and I have to tell you, I

watched all six of these pretty much back to back last weekend, and this is the new

carnival row in my life. I am 100% here for these fucking fairies.
