Hello, my friends. Welcome to another excellent episode of Stand Up with Pete Domic

Daily. I've got the great Celeste Headley joining me and she does not disappoint. Brilliant and

hilarious. We had an awesome conversation as that begins at 23 minutes. But I do just want to make a

little announcement here. I want to let everybody know that I am

canceling my plans to go to swing states in these final couple of weeks of the election for several

reasons. But anybody who gave me money, I will be sending that back to you. Almost everybody

gave it through Venmo. I'll send that back. If you did not get your money back

by the end of Monday, let me know, and I'll be on it. No harm, no foul. And thank you. I'm so

grateful to everybody who is supporting me on that. The entire idea came from Ben Wickler of Wisconsin,

who is this really smart political strategist. I heard him on a podcast. He said the best thing you could do is go to swing states.

I did it.

I went to Nevada.

And frankly, I just didn't feel like it was worth the effort that I made.

I had all kinds of grandiose ideas.

But I think the best thing that I can do is this work that I'm doing and doubling down on it. So I've got some plans of what I'm

going to be doing each and every day here on the show and how we can help each other. But if I have

one major weakness fault in my work and my character, it's well, like everybody, I have several,

but I'm focused on overpromising and under delivering. It was just too like everybody, I have several, but I'm focused on over-promising and under-delivering.

It was just too daunting.

And I finally made decision tonight to call it off, and I felt relieved.

And I am very, very grateful to everybody who's supporting me.

I just think that the most important thing that someone like me can do is the actual work that I do all day.
