So today is part two of our discussion with Mike Morford.

Many of you know him as Morp from criminology and the murder in my family.

And we are focusing on the unsolved murder of Elizabeth Liz Barraza.

Liz was shot and killed just before 7 a.m. on January 25th of 2019 in the driveway of her home as she was

setting up for a garage sale scheduled for that Friday and the following day

Saturday. Her husband, Sergio, had just left for work minutes earlier. Ring camera footage

shows a truck past Liz's house, perform a three-point turn, and then park behind Liz's car, which was parked on the street.

The driver exits the truck, approaches Liz, and the two appear to have a very brief conversation.

The offender then shoots Liz four times at close range, first in the neck, then twice in the chest. As Liz

falls backwards onto the ground, the shooter stands over her and fires a final point-blank shot

to her face. Liz was transported to the hospital, but tragically died from her injuries the following day.
