So the story of Prince Ivan and the Grey Wolf is one of the most famous Russian fairy tales around.

0:07.0

And just recently, actually, just yesterday, Deacon Nicholas Kotar, who many of you have seen on my channel, he's the author of the Raven Sun series.

0:17.0

He's also been a pretty enthusiastic participant in the Symbolic World blog.

0:22.9

Actually, his articles have gotten more views than my article.

0:27.8

And so, hmm.

0:29.2

So, Deacon Nicholas has just started a new podcast called In a Certain Kingdom.

0:35.2

And his podcast is going to be looking at different Russian fairy tales,

1:55.6

and has nothing to do with the retelling that Deacon Nicholas gives in his podcast.

2:02.6

His retelling is beautiful. There's also some compositions that were written, and so there's

2:07.6

music in the background. It's very, very well done, very professional. I once again

2:12.6

suggest you check it out. So here are the basic elements of Prince Ivan and the Grey Wolf.

2:20.4

And so the king has a tree which produces golden apples. And then the king realizes that there's

2:27.8

something which is stealing his golden apples at night. There are different versions. Sometimes
