Hello again, everybody. Thank you as always for listening. Today is another real person chat where I'm joined by my friend Doug Mann.

So I met Doug at the Rock Retirement Club that you've heard me talk about before, where I'm one of the coaches.

Doug's a member. I first met him. I want to say three years ago, I think three years ago, when the club does its annual in person, they call it

Roundup in Fort Worth or an area near Fort Worth, Texas. I met Doug there, and I've since met him

another one or two times at these annual roundups. Great guy, retired, and real unique angles to his

retirement in that he and his wife chose to live and retire in

Thailand. So Doug has been in Thailand a few years and they have no expectation of ever

leaving, well, other than travel, but they plan on staying there for the rest of their lives.

Now, his wife is a Thai native Thai citizen. So that's part of,

you know, the deciding factor in how and why they ended up there. But Doug is from the U.S.

still has and, you know, maintains a property and an address in the U.S. and still U.S. citizens,

still pays taxes in the U.S. but fully lives and is retired in Thailand and, you know, has property

there and built a house and whatever. So you hear all that, which is really interesting.

We've talked about some international travel stuff before when Ali and Allison were on a few

months back where they spent a few months at a clip in different places in their early years of retirement,

but have now since hunkered back in the U.S., Doug and his wife actually live.

They are full-on residents of Thailand and have no intentions, like I said, of leaving and moving back to the U.S. full-time.
