I went there during a busy time because I was like you know what there's going to be

hundreds of people walking by constantly I'm about to ask people for money and so I

said okay I got to do this got to it out, even though that's something that also makes me uncomfortable, the idea of asking for something.

But it's like, I was at least telling people what I was getting and there's a target right there where the tarps are.

So I was literally asking people saying like you know I'm trying to raise $24 because I have to buy two

tarps for my tent. I'm currently living on Skid Row and I need help.

I had seen over 600 people that day.

And everyone said no to me.

Everyone, like to the point where I've, don't I don't sit in like fury often and long because I don't

like that energy I was furious that day I was so angry by the level of resilience to help. No one wanted to help me. Like the energy that went into the nose and the not help could have easily solved my problem.

Lurea is an author, she's an entrepreneur, a philanthropist, a performing artist. She grew up in New York City. a as well as Laredas Bodega, which is a store and community space that continues her mission of feeding street involved people, high quality nourishing foods, and most recently she published the book Love Without Reason.

And even as a kid Lorea had a knack for seeing the perfection in a situation even when it seemed

imperfect as she tells it in the interview instead of drawing in a situation even when it seemed imperfect.
