Summary

I’ve had many eye-opening conversations on this podcast over the years, but this episode has changed the way I look at the modern world forever.

Andrew Wallis is CEO of Unseen, a UK-based organisation fighting against the global epidemic of modern day slavery and human trafficking.

Andrew shares his inspiring journey of starting Unseen, and outlines the challenges facing the fight against these atrocities that are happening right here in every major town and city in the UK.

The extent of the problem is shocking, and the details are horrific, but Andrew's passion and commitment to making a difference in the world is truly inspiring.

And globally, the latest estimates, and it's a conservative figure, say that at least

0:44.3

50 million people are held in situations of slavery.

0:48.3

And we would say it's an illicit commodity trade that is worth about a half a trillion dollars profit per annul.
