The man got more violent, he was throwing objects at us and then he started punching me

and my guy friend who was with us, you know, he was getting more and more angry and

we were really prepared to stop fighting and I was just like, hey man, we calm down,

like we don't know what's going on here, we don't know who he knows, we don't know if he's got

weapons, let's just get out of here quickly, so we grabbed our stuff and left, he then followed us

and picked up a big glass bottle and we're shaking it to my direction and then eventually started

We're Chatting with Darian, who's being stalked by a stranger he met through a random act of

violence. During a night out, Darian's female friend was sexually assaulted, they quickly left the

scene but the perpetrator followed. He assaulted Darian violently throwing him to the ground and they

called the police. Days later they returned to that part of town and a friend of the perpetrator

confronted them saying that since they called the police they should die. This started a pattern

of revenge stalking and every time Darian encountered this man in public he would launch into an attack

physically and verbally, shutting homophobic slurs at him. Darian did not know the identity of this man

but was finally able to get a clear photo doing one of his attacks and went to the police station

with the new information. Darian believed these were random crimes due to being in the wrong

place at the wrong time but now sees that this person is using stalking to commit hate crimes

home life where you grew up? I'm from London and I had a pretty regular upbringing, very loving and

caring household. I would say that it was quite a lot of violence growing up in the area, quite a
