| 0:30.0 | point if people already shop there? If somebody is already |
| 0:33.0 | shopping at Amazon, why is it to your benefit to actually sign |
| 0:37.0 | up for that affiliate program? As I said, very good question. |
| 0:40.0 | It just so happens that there is also a good answer. At least |
| 0:43.0 | if you have any sort of website or online presence, it might |
| 0:46.0 | at some point link to one of the 600 million items that are |
| 0:50.0 | sold through the world's largest retailer. We'll talk about |
| 0:54.0 | that. Also, fun fact, when you participate in the Amazon |
| 0:57.0 | affiliate program, you can actually see which items are being |
| 1:00.0 | sold for your commission. You can't actually see people's |
| 1:04.0 | personal information. It's like if you buy through my link, I |
| 1:07.0 | don't necessarily know who you are and what you're buying. |
| 1:10.0 | But you can see collectively or an aggregate what people are buying, |
| 1:13.0 | which can be an interesting exploration. As I was researching |
