Because I, you know, I think being, myself, I'm 31 years old, so never got to experience the automat, but have just

have lived it through the, you know, the documentaries and the photos and all that kind of

stuff.

And I imagine you're the same.

You don't look too, too long in the tooth, I guess.

No, just slightly older.

Okay, yeah. So you never, you never got to, because the last one closed shop in, what, 1991 or something?

Yep. Yeah, New York City.

I never got to personally go to one.

Right. Yeah, man. Bummer. But maybe we will get the chance now, huh?

That's my hope. That's the plan. Okay. Well, let's just start in. I mean, people listening might not even know what the heck an automat is or I've never heard of hoard and hard art. I've been kind of, I've been excited for this. So I've been kind of sharing it with everybody, and I'll kind of throw it out,

like especially kind of the older, like the boomer folks in my family and stuff, they'll be like,

no, I don't think I remember that. But then once I explain the whole thing to them, they're like,

oh yeah, I remember that. That's pretty cool. So, yeah, let's just, let's just get into it. Can you

give us a little, I guess, just like what is it? What's an automat?

Sure. Well, specifically, too, I'll tell you what a horn and hard art automat is.

Horn and hard art was really kind of the automat. The two are pretty linked.
