And I wasn't such physical, emotional, and psychological torment and pain

that I looked up and saw the vile of morphine and almost intuitively just drew up.

I think it was a milligram of it and just put it straight into my arm and instantly felt

and that really was the pivoting point. Now that doesn't necessarily mean that one goes on

to the journey that I went on, which was a nine-year total unraveling, going further and further

and further and further and further down. To the point where nine years later, I'm living in a bus

shelter in London, the archetypal street junkie.
