October 1, 2013. She wasn't supposed to get a mammogram that day. In fact, she wasn't "supposed" to have one for several more years. But Amy Robach's decision 12 years ago today is one worth noting and even celebrating.

| 1:28.4 | history, you could wait until you were 50. So at 40, why would I walk into a mammavant and have a |
| 1:34.2 | mammogram? I didn't want to do it. But thankfully, I did because that was the day that led to my |
| 1:41.5 | diagnosis at the end of this month where I was ultimately diagnosed |
| 1:44.7 | with stage two invasive breast cancer. |
