I'm a grown man who never read the Percy Jackson series before, but I'm reading them now in a quest to see if this is a YA series that the world has been sleeping on. And I'm not on this quest alone. I'm joined by a comedian from Seattle, someone I've done improv with in the past, and hopefully I will do so again in the future. It's Alison Lurz. Allison, how's it going? I have a very fond memory of appearing on Potterless, like mildly inebriated and hollering in front of a whole lot of people. It was one of the live shows. It was so much fun. Yes. It was the first ever live show for Potterless, first ever time I did a podcast live show, which was wild. It was also the first and last time that I shot a confetti cannon on stage. I remember that too. Because I was then made aware of how troublesome they

are to clean up, even though, let the record show, I asked for approval before shooting it off.

I distantly remember, like, the look of mild disapproval from the stage manager in the far back,

just like watching his face kind of fall along with the confetti. On the bright side, hardwood

flooring, easy to mop up, not a carpet.

I would never have tried to even make that happen. You are not a confetti vandal. No, and now I just shoot off money guns when I do live shows because it's way easier to clean up. Just scoop, scoop, scoop, put them back in the little plastic gun. Bing, bang, boom. Everything's good. Dang, now I know where to go for free money. Holy cow.
