Summary

After vacationing with friends in the beach resort of Varna in Bulgaria, Lars Mittank arrived at the airport, ready to return home to Germany.

CCTV cameras show that Lars walked around the check-in area aimlessly. He seemed calm and relaxed, just like any other traveller, waiting to board his flight. Hours later, Lars was seen running out of the airport. He left all his things: his phone, his bags, his ID…

Witnesses saw him climbing over an 8ft fence and running into a sunflower field. After that, he vanished into thin air and has not been seen since.

1:04.9	Sandra was trying to make sense of what Lars was saying, but he hung up the phone
1:09.3	before she could get more information from him. She was concerned. She knew that Lars was alone as his
1:16.1	friends had returned to Germany earlier that day. She tried calling him back, but

1:23.7	Sandra played the conversation with Lars over and over in her head.

1:30.8	He said that he was fearing for his life, that something was wrong at the hotel, and that he had to get out of there.
