My childhood in a nutshell, well it all started in Northampton in the 80s.

I didn't even know I was in the closet but I did find George Mikel in there.

My dad was the manager of the local football club,

but the only thing I was tackling was a good act of a Christie.

I don't know why I'm telling you about it.

They've only gone and turned it into a series.

This summer was a long time coming.

The winter was just brutal if you were in the northeast or midwest and it just kept going.

And now it's that kind of muggy and hot that brings me back to my childhood growing up in Vermont.

I had one of those very stereotypical rural upbringings, fishing and swimming and biking,

catching frogs, getting in trouble.

I actually miss it a lot.

So tonight I'm going to read something that always brings me back to that place.
