Hey everyone and welcome back to Big Mad True Crime. I'm your host Heather and this week's case

0:05.6

got me so big mad that I was worried we'd need to rename the entire podcast for this episode.

0:11.7

But I have composed myself so sit back and buckle up because it's about to get real,

0:17.6

real fast. Nobody cares about whatever small talk I could throw in right here so let's just skip it.

Thomas Brown was your all-american small-town kid from Goodall, Canadian, Texas.

0:40.5

And when I say small town I'm talking 2700 people. Their graduating classes are around 65 students

0:48.4

per year. There were more students attending my high school than there are people in the town

and his dad came to all of his important events. He was not lacking in the friend department,

1:34.5

whatsoever and they seemed to come from all walks of life, from sports to theater to kids who

1:40.0

really didn't seem to want to talk to anybody else. I've researched missing people before and you

1:44.8

guys who have been with me for a while know that I'm going to call it like I see it and if

1:49.1

someone isn't as great of a guy as everyone who loves him says he is, I'm going to be honest with

1:54.3

you but I dug and I dug and I dug and literally everyone seems to love this kid.

2:00.4

Even his ex-girlfriend Sage who had started college when he started his senior year,

2:05.0

they'd recently decided to call things off because it just wasn't practical for the both of them
