My name's Bill, and I'm an alcoholic.

And you guys did a real good job.

It's real, real tough to do alcoholism, ego, and self

because there's no recovery in there.

And to stay into that and not want to come out of it is real difficult.

Now we're in step one, and this is the beginning of the goodie bag, man.

This is where all the stuff starts happening.

Up there, it says we admitted we're powerless over alcohol.

And one of the things Bob helped me with was to change the words to, I admitted I was powerless over alcohol.

And that my life has become manageable.

And he also said, you don't have to change that if you don't want to.

But it seemed to work for my life.

You know, that's the way I had to do it.

You know, I had to take a look at what my part in alcohol, ego, and self, and in the first step, what's my part?

Who, you know, what do I do?
