I'm your host Jeff Luck and today is a 12 questions version of the podcast with William Byron,

Willie B, although he doesn't like to be called that, so we probably won't call him that.

But William Byron from Hendrick Motorsports, current rookie of the year leader and an all-around pleasant

dude who has always been nice. And he also has a sneaky, funny personality, I think. So

hopefully that will come through today on the 12 questions. As always, I appreciate him taking the

time to do it. So let's hear how he answered this year's version. All right, everybody,

I'm here with William Byron. And William, the first question is, how often do you have dreams

about racing? Um, gosh, I would say, I hope most of the time not during the week, because I try to

get my mind away from it a little bit. But I'd say when I'm at the racetrack, I have nightmares

or dreams, you know, sometimes nightmares about, like, forgetting something or being late or

sleeping in.

So I'd say more nightmares than anything.

Okay.

That doesn't sound too fun.

No.

If you get into someone during a race, whether it's intentional or not, does it matter

if you apologize?

Yeah, I think so, especially in my position.

As a rookie, I think when you're an older guy, maybe you're more set in your ways,

but as a rookie, you don't want to have kind of enemies out there.

So, yeah, I think it's important just to clear the air.
