Welcome back to another edition of the untitled jeff gluck podcast i'm your host

jeff gluck and it is a 12 questions version of the podcast today and i'm so happy to be joined by

four-time indy car champion scott dixon from chip ganass. Now, I'm super excited about this interview,

basically because of the circumstances of how it happened. So I want to paint a picture for you.

So let's say an IndyCar blogger comes to Homestead for the NASCAR Championship weekend and says,

hey, I like to get a one-on-one interview with a championship contending driver the day before the race.

Now, that is what happened with this Scott Dixon interview.

I was able to get Scott Dixon after his qualifying lap, which wasn't even that great.

And so he had all excuses to be in a bad mood, his PR team at all, every reason to say,

you know what, he's just going to be super busy this weekend.

He's tied up.

He can't do it right now.

He needs to focus on the race.

All the excuses that you regularly hear from, I guess, the NASCAR drivers.

But they didn't make any of those excuses. They said,

hey, you know what? We will get you the 12 questions after qualifying. Just hang out and we'll get

you with them, no problem. It's like, man, that is so crazy. Coming from NASCAR, where I haven't been

able to get some drivers all year that I've been asking for, and it doesn't look like I'll be able

to get them in some cases. I'm able to get a championship contender, one of the biggest names,

the day before the championship race in a tight points battle after qualifying. It was just totally

insane to me. Anyway, we did this interview after his qualifying press conference. So I did feel a little
