Hello, everybody and welcome to another edition of the 12 Questions interview on the Untitled Jeff Gluck podcast.

Today's guest for the 12 questions is Ryan Newman of Richard Chiless Racing.

Now, that's quite a coincidence because Ryan Newman just won the Phoenix race.

Obviously, this was not planned because this interview was recorded at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

I wish I could say that I totally knew this was coming, but it worked out in a good coincidence.

One thing to note is that because this interview was recorded before the famous fight that happened at Las Vegas,

the punchable face question that's posed from Dale Jr., Ryan Newman's answer, he didn't

know there was going to be a fight or anything like that. So keep that in mind when you listen

to his answer toward the end of this interview. But, you know, Ryan Newman is always sort of a challenge. You really

have to stay on your toes with him because he'll sort of pick apart the questions. And you can

see me struggle a few times during this interview in that department. So without further ado,

Thank you for doing the 12 questions, Ryan.

The first one is how much of your success is based on natural ability and how much has come from working at it?

50-50.

I guess you'll make the library.

If you don't mind. I guess you'll me to elaborate. That'd be, if you don't mind.

I think you have to have a natural ability.

Otherwise, you just aren't never going to get it.

I mean, it's no different than any other sport or any other pastime or any other job.
