All right, everybody. Welcome back to another year of the 12 questions interviews. My name is Jeff Gluck here at The Athletic,

and I'm so excited to bring you another version of the 12 questions. This is the 12th year I've

been doing these, and very excited about that. First of all, some notes. I'm live at

Daytona International Speedway right now, and the fan zone is blasting some

music. This is the only place I could find where I could take off my mask and walk around in quiet

to record this podcast. So sorry about the music in the background if you hear any, but it'll just add a festive vibe to this podcast.

And the first one of this year is with Joey Lugano.

I think this is maybe the third or fourth year in a row that I've gone with Joe Lugano as the first one,

because he's really good at answering questions and really take some time to give some good thought into

them. So I wanted to start off on a positive note again. And hopefully you'll enjoy this year's

version of the questions. A little bit of an exciting announcement. I hope it's exciting

anyway. If you're listening to this on the teard down feed, you're probably like, wait, why is the 12

questions in here?

So something a little bit new for this year, we're going to be putting the 12 questions

in the tear down podcast feed for free for everybody.

A couple days after it comes out for the athletic subscribers on the athletic app.

Now, it's, you know, it's hard to listen to the podcast on the athletic app for subscribers

because, you know, most people want to have it in their feed, whether it's

Apple Podcasts or whatever.

And so this kind of allows us to do both.
