My name is Jeff Buck. I'm a motorsports writer for the athletic. And each week,

ask the same 12 questions to a different race car driver.

Up next is Harrison Burton of Wood Brothers Racing. He is in his second Cup Series season, but we now know he will be back for more Cup Series racing with the Wood Brothers 21 car next year.

But before that news came out, I had a chance to sit down with

him and talk about all things 12 questions related. All right, everybody, I'm here for 12 questions

with Harrison Burton. Harrison, how are you doing today? I'm doing great, man. Excited for these 12

questions. Nice. Me too. All right. Well, the first one is you must pick one chore or obligation to do all every day for a year. But if you do it every day, you never have to do it again for the rest of your life. So you can just knock it out forever. What would you like to check off? I'm checking off taking out the trash. All right. So for me, I think it's not a lot of work, but also, so you don't have to suffer that much

throughout the year, but then the payoff is nice because you never have to take the trash out

again, so that's what I'm going with.

Okay, a very sound thing, and I like that.

Can you describe how you are as a passenger and a streetcar?

I'm relaxed except for if it's my girlfriend driving.

She scares me to death, man.

Where were we?

It was me, Todd Gillen, Austin Cendrick was behind us,

and my girlfriend and Todd's wife in a car.

And Jenna, I forget what race track we were at,

but she didn't know there was a railroad track coming,

and she didn't really slow down,

and we literally caught air in her SUV so uh everyone knows like Jenna's she's scary for

sure oh man what was the reaction like did everybody give her crap for it oh no everyone was excited
