All right, everybody. Welcome back to another edition of the 12 questions podcast here on the

Teardown Feed. My name is Jeff Gluck, and each week I ask a different race car driver the same 12

questions and see what kind of answers we get.

Up this week, it is defending Xfinity Series champion Austin Sindrick of Team Penske,

recently announced to be taking over the number two car after Brad Kozlowski departs for Penske

at the end of the season and goes to Rausch Fenway Racing.

Austin Sindrick will be stepping into that car, but he's also been dabbling in some cup races this

season, including the upcoming race this weekend at the brickyard on the road course there.

So it'd be interesting to see how he does in both the races this weekend, both Xfinity and Cup.

But an interesting guy, very intelligent, obviously, and also has a good sense of humor.

I've enjoyed getting to know him a little bit better over the last couple years.

And so let's go into our interview on this week's 12 questions podcast.

And Austin, the first question is, when you meet someone who doesn't know who you are,

do you ever lie about what you do for a living?

I don't lie. I just don't tell the whole truth

i mean it depends on the context like if i'm at a racetrack obviously like i'm i'm a driver but like

otherwise i just say i work on a race team work in nascar um i don't feel like i don't have any

shame in what i do by any means but i don't think it's uh i don't advertise like I don't have any shame in what I do by any means, but I don't think it's

I don't advertise or brag necessarily because I get to do something pretty cool.

Yeah, okay, that makes sense.
