Just me, answering 12 straight questions that will get anyone into the right mindset when it comes to prepping. This is the episode you send to the guy who says, “Why should I prep? Nothing ever happens here.” Really? Tell that to people in Maui who watched their homes go up in flames, or the folks in Continue reading →

right? And then some of these questions are questions that I get more from the mainstream public when they find out what I do and what I'm all about. If I'm at a friend's house party or something like that and you start having conversation with people who don't really know you, they just know you through the friend or the family member, they're like, well, what do you do on the podcast? And I try not to evangelize at things like that. But if they ask, you know, I'll tell them, you know, I do a show called a podcast preparedness. And, like, first question we're going to hit today is, well, why should I bother to prep where I live is boring? Nothing happens. Keep in mind that I live in North Texas, which is one of the tornado touchdown capitals of the world. So that's an interesting thing for that person to say, not to mention hail storms, not to mention three years ago, the big Texas freeze, not to mention many winter storms that have completely shut things down around. You see what I'm saying? I think these people are generally in the mindset of what, end of the world as we know it. I just turned a guess down with that, you know, building your food pantry for the end of the world as we know it. And it wasn't just schick. It wasn't just like, we talk about fighting the zombies because if you're ready for the zombies. Like, she was serious. And I'm like, not my thing, man. This is not what we do. We teach practical everyday preparedness. We don't hinge on either apocalypse or nothing. So I'm going to hit that question and 11 other ones when we get started.
