Hey there from CNN, I'm Chris DeBoe with the five things you need to know for Friday, March 1st.

Two hearings today and two states could be significant for former President Donald Trump and his political and legal schedule for the next few months.

He's at a federal courthouse in Florida for a hearing in the classified documents case,

where a judge is expected to discuss a bunch of issues, a big one being the trial date.

Prosecutors are proposing early July, while Trump's legal team is requesting an August

date, if not later.

Over in Georgia, closing arguments start in the effort to

disqualify Fulton County DA Fani Willis from the state elections version case

against Trump and others. Defense attorneys allege the romantic relationship

between Willis and Nathan Wade, the lead prosecutor on the case, created a conflict of interest and that they lied under oath about when their relationship started.

Willis and Wade deny any wrongdoing here, and Trump and other co-defendants have pleaded not guilty in both cases.

For me personally, it was like, I don't know, Russian Nelson Mandela or Russian Martin Luther King so

That was just one of the thousands of mourners who showed up for the funeral and later burial of Alexi Navalny in Moscow today.

There were concerns the Kremlin would crack down on mourners who earlier were warned about unauthorized memorials for the Russian opposition figure,

who died in prison last month.

CNN's Matthew Chances in Moscow, where he and his team have had trouble broadcasting.

Yeah, I mean, the signal's been very dodgy here. They put an umbrella blanket, it seems, over the whole area and we couldn't get a signal up. But we're here now. So many thousands of people have come out, despite the very intense security operations been underway here.

Calls are growing for an investigation after Gaza officials said Israeli forces opened fire on people trying to get food aid yesterday.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza says at least 112 people were killed and more

than 700 were injured.

Witnesses say civilians swarmed around a convoy of aid trucks from other countries in the hope of

getting food, and Israeli forces in the area soon started shooting.
