The judge overseeing President-elect Donald Trump's hush money case has postponed his

sentencing indefinitely. He's granted Trump's request to file a motion to dismiss the case,

ordering his lawyers to submit the papers by December 2nd. The judge also agreed to hold off

on issuing his decision on presidential immunity until after he's reviewed

those files and the prosecution's response. We asked CNN's Karas Ganal for the latest.

Hey Joe, the judge overseeing Donald Trump's criminal hush money case has agreed to postpone his

sentencing indefinitely. This move was expected. Trump was due to be sentenced on Tuesday,

but his lawyers and prosecutors both agreed that it could be postponed because they are moving

to the next phase in this case. Trump's lawyers want to file a motion to dismiss the case.

The judge agreeing to let them do that setting, a briefing schedule, prosecutors have already indicated

that they will oppose this as they look to stand behind their conviction.
