Cutter says an agreement has been reached to extend the four-day truce between Israel and Hamas by two more days.

Ten more hostages would grant Hamas one extra day in the pause.

CNN has reached out to the Israeli government for comment.

More hostages taken by Hamas are expected to be released today and Israel

says their family members have been told that they'll be reunited with them. The latest list of

people due to be freed was given to the Israeli government earlier today, but it said there were negotiations

about the names included.

With sources saying one of the sticking points was whether mothers would be released

alongside their children.

Forty Israeli hostages have been released by Hamas so far in exchange for the release of

117 Palestinian prisoners.

White House National Security official John Kirby said the administration didn't know if any

Americans would be included in today's release.

We obviously hope that those two American women are on that list and will be reunited with their

families today. That's certainly our hope. We're working on this literally by the hour.

Elon Musk is in Israel today meeting with the country's leaders. After facing a firestorm of

criticism over his public endorsement of an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory on a social media platform X.

And a live conversation on X with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,

Musk agreed that Israel must destroy Hamas.
