The latest jobs report paints a bit of a murky picture before the election. The U.S. economy

added 12,000 jobs in October far less than recent levels, though that number will likely be revised.

But this was expected because of two major hurricanes

and a large number of striking workers having a negative impact on the data,

with the unemployment level holding steady at 4.1%.

While the economy remains the top issue for the majority of voters,

Republicans could seize on the low headline number.

But as CNN's Matt Egan says, former President Donald Trump's stock market record has now been

surpassed by President Joe Biden's.

Trump was enjoying the second best market performance that any president has had in modern history.
