As funding for foreign aid is stalled in Congress, the US Army has been footing the bill to support Ukraine against Russia's aggression over the last few months.

Since October 2023 the Army has spent over $430 million on several operations

including training Ukrainian troops and

transporting equipment. This comes as a key city on the eastern front in Ukraine,

Evdivka, has fallen to Russia, a development President Joe Biden blames

congressional inaction on.

Russia looks poised to keep the pressure up along the eastern front, amid Ukraine's ammunition

and troop shortages.

Ukraine's President Vladimir Zolinsky said international support is needed to keep going.
