Thursday July 25th. President Joe Biden is set to meet Israeli Prime Minister

Benjamin Netanyahu today. The leader's relationship has been pretty tense lately over

Israel's war in Gaza. I asked CNN's Arlet signs what we should expect from this

meeting. Krista, President Biden believes negotiators could be on the verge of

striking an agreement to return

hostages to their families and end the conflict in Gaza. That will be a key focus for

Biden in this meeting as he's also looking to cement his legacy in his final six months in office.

Even as Biden is set to depart next year, Nett and Yahoo in the meantime still needs his

support both in defense and diplomatic capacities as he seeks to root out Hamas.

Some U.S. and Israeli officials say they're optimistic that a deal can be reached, but others

have questioned whether Netanyahu actually wants one.

The Prime Minister is also expected to meet with Vice President

Kamala Harris today. It'll give Harris the opportunity to take her own stance on the conflict

in Gaza after following Biden's lead for so long. Even though Biden and Netanyahu have had their differences recently,

the president has arguably been one of America's most pro-Israel leaders,

something that cost him the support of some voters in the primaries.

And her campaign's first ad, Vice President Harris says

voters face a question this election.
