Hey there, from CNN, I'm Krista Bow with the five things you need to know for Tuesday, September 17th.

Rapperent producer Sean Diddy Combs is in a Manhattan court today, after his arrest in a New York City hotel last night.

The music mogul was charged with racketeering, conspiracy, and sex trafficking, and a federal

indictment unsealed this morning.

In the indictment, prosecutors accused Combs of

creating and running a criminal enterprise through his business empire that

allegedly committed or attempted to commit crimes like sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery,

and obstruction of justice.

It also alleged Combs, quote, engaged in a persistent and pervasive pattern of physical, verbal, emotional, and sexual

abuse toward women and other individuals. As lawyer said this morning he expected the

charges. He came to New York to basically engage the court system and start the case and it'll start today.

And he's going to plead not guilty obviously.

Combs has been the subject of an ongoing federal probe stemming from sexual assault allegations made in several lawsuits against him,
