Sometimes wrestling goes weird. I say this all the time, but it does make sense.

There's so much sports entertainment programming nobody could ever have a perfect scorecard,

it does not possible. I also imagine the creative team gets quite bored here and there,

so they throw manless at the wall. So what are some of these times we've scratched our heads and

It seems very likely Dwayne Johnson received some pretty huge acting opportunities and he jumped on them. I don't begrudge him this. We all would have done it. It's still a shame because it took what we were seeing on wrestling TV and made it totally bizarre.

Now, one of the rain reasons it made people so sad is because the Rock in 2024 was excellent.

pay-per-view. So he corrupted John Cena's brain and then left. That's a little bit odd. Number 11,

Triple H's terror rising. That is right. Brand new wrestling fans when Triple H was in WCW, he was called Terror Rising. Exactly what you think as well. It's a pun. A bad one at that. Who could ever take this seriously? And actually, the word is this came from his trainer, Killer Kowalski. That dude was a legend too, but even then, it was a silly name. The character was still basically who he would play when he became Hunter Hurst-Helmsy with the big robe, and yep, the Rick Flair influences were clear to see. Now, I really should have taken that shot at WCW because the books tell us they changed it quite quick to Jean-Paul Lavec, but they also told him to speak in a French accent. I'm sure you know this, but he is not French. Maybe Terra was better. Number 10, Dolv Ziegler. I mean, it did spark his incredible run on the main roster is Dolv Ziegler, so I don't know. I doubt he wants to talk about it, mind. But the Spirit Squad, when he did debut, were absolutely hilarious. They all debuted on

Roar in 2006 and yeah. The five together made up a male cheerleading squad. And I don't actually

think this is as bad as some people make out. They were so over the top and insufferable. They

made for great heels. And they even had a feud with Degeneration X, although that did end badly.

Triple H and Sean Michaels literally put them in a box and sent them back to developmental.

Nikki as Dolve was part of the act, however, and they did win the tag team titles twice,

and it was Freebird rules, so everybody got their moment.
