I'm your host Chris Broad, we're joined as always by England's top Japan enthusiast,

Mr. Pete Donaldson. Pete, how are you doing today?

I'm good. I'm in Scotland in the Pete Donaldson kitchen,

abroad in Japan, London HQ, because I've had to move from the front of the house to the back of the house,

because the builders, not builders, I don't even know what they're doing.

I think there might be water people, they're the water people who are servicing the sewers or something,

but they've decided to dig up the entirety of my road.

I mean, they could have done this under lockdown when nobody needed to go down the road,

but they've decided to take on the work as we head into July,

and so I was starting to get back to normal, so well done, Westminster Council, once again.

But I am in a bronze Japan enthusiast, I am also an Ijónophile.

I'm very into your air conditioning right now, because it's very hot in London,

and the British, it's all we can talk about, but it is very, very hot,

and why we can't have air conditioning like the Japanese, I do not know,

so I'm having a make-do with a fan, which is currently off, because I'm recording a podcast,

so watch me melt people, watch me melt.

I remember I came back to the UK last summer for the first time in eight years,

because whenever I come back I go over Christmas or Easter at times,

but I came back in summer, and I was so hot, but there was no aircon,
