Summary

This is an update for episode #62 of the podcast, which covered the life and mysterious death of 39-year-old Andrya DeGhelder. Andrya - a divorcee that was living in Grovetown, Georgia - went missing in July of 2018, and her body was found about a week later. Police remain convinced that her neighbor, 55-year-old Christopher Gibson, was involved in her death, but charges have yet to be filed...

0:00.0	On Thursday, July 26, we conducted a welfare check on Andrea Pauline Decalder, a her
0:10.3	residence located at 518 Great Falls and I be followed by a subdivision.
0:17.3	Inside the residence, we found evidence leading us to believe that Mrs. Decalder was taking
0:23.2	against her will.
0:26.2	Eight yesterday evening, the investigation led us to a dumpster that was located in the
0:31.9	Gateway Shopping Center on Lewiston Road.
0:36.1	Inside that dumpster, we found the body of a white female.
0:40.8	We believe to be Andrea Decalder.
0:45.4	The body has been sent to the crime lab for positive identification and autopsy.
0:51.2	On the evening of July 25, 2018, a woman named Andrea DeGeldre was a no-show for work.
0:58.2	She was scheduled to begin work at 11pm at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta,
1:04.2	Georgia, but did not show up for her shift and would fail to make contact with all of her
1:09.1	co-workers for the rest of the day.
1:11.3	The following morning, a wellness check was performed on Andrea's home in the neighboring
1:16.1	town of Grove Town.
1:17.9	And there, police discovered what seemed to be a chaotic crime scene.
1:22.4	There was no sign of forced entry, but there was blood smeared along the walls leading
1:26.5	from Andrea's kitchen to her bedroom.
1:29.5	Inside of her bedroom was a pile of bloody clothing, and the contents of her purse had
1:34.3	been scattered across the kitchen floor.
1:36.5	A day later, Friday, July 27, local police officials would state their belief that 39-year-old
1:42.7	Andrea DeGeldre was not just missing, but had likely been taken against her will.
