Well, welcome to this week's behind the scenes conversations. I am Asherita Chutu, and I'm here with

my friend Hannan It. Hey, guys. Welcome. So glad to be here. Okay, today we are going to get a bit

geeky and do a deep dive in how joy is at the heart of the gospel. So we have this personality,

like devotional personality type quiz. I don't know that I've

shared this here before, but I think different people connect with God in different ways.

This is true. And God is such a creative God. He welcomes us to connect with him the way he created

us. Like it actually brings him delight when we lean into the way that he made us to feel close

to him and delight in him.

So anyway, we're going to link that quiz in the show notes.

But when I took the quiz and I've known this for years, like, I'm a Bible nerd.

I feel close to God when I learn something new about him or when I see revealed in scripture an attribute or characteristic

of God that I can then see paralleled in my life. Like that just lights me up.

You know, Ashtrida, I feel like you and I are different in a lot of ways, which is why it's so

beautiful to be on a podcast with you. But I'm the same on that one.

Yeah.

I feel the exact same way.

The Word of God, like when I think of different rhythms of spending time with God,

prayer and worship in the Bible, man, I get so lit up in the Word.

I love it.

But you're right that it's not for everyone necessarily, the word is, but that isn't

necessarily everyone's, like, best connection.

Yeah.
