1:03.6	for having me. Very happy to have you here. What a busy week and in the most horrible kinds of ways. Can you get us caught up on what is going on in the world? Maybe starting with Syria, please.
1:16.7	Yeah, well, the big news today is that the Syrian army announced that HTS, which is the al-Qaeda offshoot, led by Al-Julani who was the emir of al-Qaeda in Syria. They have
1:30.7	apparently taken the city of Hama after taking Aleppo in a pretty lightning offensive that
1:37.8	they launched last Wednesday. And there's been reports of very heavy fighting on the ground,
1:43.6	and they're making some pretty
1:45.6	rapid gains here.
1:47.2	So this comes after over a year of increased Israeli airstrikes on Syria, this war in Lebanon
1:53.8	against Hezbollah, which is a main ally of Syria.
1:56.8	And part of that war has been to hit the border crossings from Syria to Lebanon. And that was part of the
2:01.9	reason why they increased all these airstrikes on Syria. So Syria was vulnerable because of that. And the
2:09.2	HTS took advantage and they launched this big offensive. So this is pretty big. I mean, it seems like the war is back on. And then in the east, you know,
