By the way, you know, this was always the weekend, this upcoming weekend, that you and I and everybody else, the world of college football would have been very, very, very excited about and less so currently. I think college football

has a lot of problems, this being one of them, where the results of the conference championship

games don't always matter. And that ain't good. That ain't good. Or they matter for one team

only, which is even worse. Yeah.

And I am a little bummed by that.

Now, that's not me piling on to the heaping stack of negativity that I espouse on a daily basis these days,

but rather an observation of where college football is at.

Damn it, man.

Like, wouldn't it be something if the loser of the Ohio State Indiana game didn't get to go play in the college football playoff?

Woo!

We'd be watching one verse two and it was all on the line.

This is where the SEC needs to get off its high horse and allow for AQs, because that would save this weekend. There would be danger for every team playing. There's not a lot of danger in, say, the SEC championship game. None. Not in terms of it make it or don't. It's biweek or not. It's by week or not or not, right? Right, yeah.

Home playoff game or not.

Right.

So that's where we're at with that game, Georgia and Alabama.

That seems unfortunate to me.
