here, man. You can't have it. Uh, it is, uh, it used to be such a day. Wasn't it such a day?

Man, that was so fun when it was, uh, signing day and it, it was, it culminated in that, you know, that was so fun when it was signing day, and it culminated in that, you know?

It was never, you know, it was never a thing where it's like I knew the principal players other than like the five-star kids.

We don't get them anymore.

But when we got those guys and I remember in the weeks leading up to it, back in those days,

it was John Lilly and I would talk to him and others.

And they would clue me in.

And, you know, one of the things that you loved about that, and it was true of all of the burgeoning recruitnicks. Like, this was something you could follow year-round, and it was a big to do. And we know a lot of people from that era that just absolutely loved it. And that part of it was fun because they were giddy. You know how sometimes, Tom, you know, you're not into something, but you know somebody who is.

And you can appreciate their passion for it.

So when you see them light up regarding the issue or the thing, the movie, the music, the book, whatever it might be. It may not be your thing. But you're happy for them when that day comes that they've been anticipating because you love them and you care for them. That's the way I would be with all the recruitniks. That's the way I am with you with your silly Star Wars things. I've always like, oh, Tom's happy. I'm glad he's going tonight. He's going to

enjoy that. And I mean, that sounds patronizing. I don't mean it to be. It is dismissive. It is. It is dismissive. No, it's dismissive in that I hate Star Wars. That I don't like Star Wars. It's not dismissive of your joy of Star Wars. Still got to see Andor. Which I'm sure is good because it's a good writer.

Yeah.
