Good afternoon fellow investors and welcome to Invest Talk. This is our Tuesday, December

29th, 2020 edition of Invest Talk and New Year's Eve is just around the corner on Thursday and then a new calendar year.

And 2020 has been certainly a difficult year in different ways from an investment standpoint, from a personal standpoint from a lot of people,

and I think we all can certainly appreciate that and with the new year upon us the goal is to

look forward right now backwards look forward and try to put all the moving parts together in the new year and understand how it all fits together for us personally and for markets and asset classes.

we know that this year taught you anything is that you have to be prepared. My grandfather is, one of my favorite sayings of my grandfather is, you don't know what you don't know.

And the pandemic is a perfect example of that.

Is so many people look to, you know, before the pandemic said,

oh well the next crisis is going to look like the last crisis, right?

Like 08, a financial crisis. Something that markets become unsettled because markets are unsettled.

Right?

Kind of a feedback loop in ways.

Because that's what we recently experienced.

And then this year brought a pandemic that I don't think anybody really expected.

And it just goes to show you that,

the next crisis won't even

crisis won't even involve the housing market

right it's to involve something else. And what that means is you have to

take an account all possibilities.

Both good and bad, right?
