0:45.2	only been like six weeks since she came to power. And indeed, we woke up this morning in the
0:50.2	United States of the news that British Prime Minister Liz Truss has resigned after only 43 days
0:58.0	in office. Truss is a member of the conservative party also known as the Tory party and you started
1:05.6	to get the sense that maybe this wasn't going to be particularly long lived when the idea of
1:11.9	cutting taxes on the rich was first presented at a particularly inopportune time given what was
1:17.6	going on in the British economy and then very quickly abandoned. It already sort of wasn't looking
1:22.7	particularly good. And then now indeed a CNBC reporting UK Prime Minister Liz Truss resigns
1:30.4	after failed budget and market turmoil. That's putting it lightly. Writing that on September 23,
1:37.7	Truss' finance minister, minister, Quasie Quarteng announced a so-called mini budget which began a
1:44.7	turbulent period for UK bond markets, which bulked at the debt-funded tax cuts he put forward.
1:51.6	Most of the policies were reversed three weeks later by the second finance minister Jeremy
1:56.9	Hunt. That's already a bad start. And indeed now the resignation comes amid financial market
2:04.1	turmoil and a revolt within the conservative party. As is often the case in politics,
