joining us here on Heartland College Sports Weekly. So Matthew, let's start off big picture here

for the Big 12 going into this bull season. Seven teams are bowl eligible, one less than last

year, still a very solid number. As you look back on the regular season, we're getting

ready for the bowl season here. How would you encapsulate this Big 12 football season?

Well, I think it's been really interesting because, you know, while obviously Texas kind of rose up

from where it's been the past few years and got to the Big 12 championship game.

Iowa State has certainly made some significant inroads into being a quality team in the conference.

You know, nothing really changed that much.

You saw Oklahoma going to the college football playoff and being the top team in the conference.

I really think that the conference championship game has significantly helped the league.

I don't mean so much in terms of that significant data point that Bob Bolsey was talking about

a couple of years ago.

I really think it should help give the conference a showcase during that last weekend of the season

and everybody getting to see the best football that the conference has to during that last weekend of the season and everybody
