I made a valiant effort last night to see the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn and it was just too cloudy.

I had a couple of really neat vantage points that I thought would work out well.

It gave me a clear look at the western and southwestern horizon.

I had my monocular with me. I was all set to go.

And even though it was cloudy, I tried another site which was ridiculous because the clouds didn't go away.

And I didn't see it.

I was the most southwest of any of us and I even went out there at 530.

Gave her a look and went, nope, can't see nothing.
