about new details on the Model 3 warranty as well as pricing on the Jaguar I Pace.

Tesla stock on Wednesday closed down 0.64% to $328.98

this compared to the Nasdak down 0.04%.

Supercharger network update, another big day yesterday

with new stations opening up in Norway, Wisconsin again, Ontario,

Hungary, Sweden, Finland, and Australia, bringing the total count up to 1, 11 supercharging locations.

In the news today, we have new warranty details

for the model 3.

The biggest news is that Tesla is now

including a maximum battery degradation warranty

within the standard warranties for the model 3.

The standard range battery has a warranty of 8 years 100,000 miles on the battery and the drive

unit and the long-range addition has a warranty of 120,000 miles or 8 years.

And interestingly, unlike the Model S and the Model X,

Tesla is now guaranteeing battery capacity of at least 70% in that warranty.

The Model S and the Model X actually don't have any

battery capacity guarantee, so this would be new

and actually better for the model 3.

That being said, I do sort of wish that Tesla would have had a higher battery capacity guarantee on the model 3.

At 70% capacity, the range on a standard range addition model 3 would only be 154 miles EPA, and the range on the long range

edition would be 217 miles EPA. Still usable ranges for sure, but I wish Tesla
