And we begin with a growing movement to address the issue of too much homework.

School districts all over the country are making changes. to address the issue of too much homework.

are making changes in response to parents

who complain about homework overload

and experts who say too much just isn't helpful.

One of those districts is in Ridgefield, Connecticut,

which just happens to be my hometown. It's now placing nightly time limits on assignments

and eliminating it entirely on weekends and school vacations.

A district in Louisiana no longer grades homework and a Houston district doesn't give it at all.

The goal is to give kids more time to sleep, read, and spend time with family.

However, not everyone is crazy about this concept.

Teachers say it takes away a tool to reinforce the day's lessons,

while some parents feel it leaves them out of the

academic process. Someone who does believe in the value of homework, Steph Curry

who now says his moon comments were meant to be a lesson.

The NBA star told E-S-BN that he was joking when he said he didn't believe man landed on the

lunar surface and he did it to show that kids shouldn't believe everything celebrities

say he wants everyone to do their own homework and understand before they

believe the silly comments made by famous people and he says he is definitely taking NASA up on its offer

to tour mission control in Houston.
