0:41.0	says that Nicky Haley in a hypothetical matchup against Joe Biden defeats
0:46.6	him by 17 points now I've given a number of tools to the audience for figuring out what we should believe.
0:58.0	And one of these tools is that in the data analysis that we do as we seek to critically analyze primary
1:06.5	sources as we do all of the different media literacy things that we should be doing.
1:11.8	At some point you also want to introduce the question, does this pass the sniff test?
1:16.8	And when you ask yourself, is it really a possibility that in a general election held today
1:23.8	Joe Biden would lose to Nicky Haley by 17 points in the national popular vote
1:30.3	to me this does not pass the sniff test, but let's be thorough.
1:34.0	This is not a poll that has anything to do with the Republican primary.
1:38.0	This is if Nicky Haley were the Republican nominee,
1:40.0	if Joe Biden were the Democratic nominee,
1:42.0	according to this new poll from the Wall Street
1:44.8	Journal over the weekend.
1:46.7	Nicky Haley is ahead 51 to 34.
1:50.8	If as as mediaite tells us if this were to become a reality, this would be the largest
1:58.0	general election margin since 1984 when Ronald Reagan defeated Walter Mondale by 18 points.
