Today is Tuesday, December 9, 2020.

And we start this morning with what should be the beginning of the end of the pandemic.

Yesterday, with cameras rolling and flash bulbs popping, a 90-year-old

grandma in the United Kingdom became the first person in the world outside of a trial to get

the coronavirus vaccine.

Within days the U.S. will likely host a similar first shot celebration.

The FDA is expected to authorize the Pfizer drug tomorrow or Friday and begin distributing

the injections within 24 hours. President Trump yesterday called the speed with

which the vaccines are coming to market, a modern day miracle.

For his part, President-elect Biden says he'll join three former presidents and get one publicly

to prove it safe.

He also announced a bold agenda for his first 100 days, including

inoculating 100 million people and getting the majority of schools back open.

Mr. Biden will be sworn in in 42 days.

If you're a kid with a smartphone,

you're all too familiar with the social media challenges out there and hopefully how most

should be avoided at all costs. Case in point, taking your parents car on a joy ride

until it runs out of gas.

Police say that online dare may have motivated a 12-year-old from Queens, New York

to hop into his mom's range rover and drive 100 miles

with his seven-year- old cousin in the passenger seat.
